So I've been putting off posting my classwork since none of its due until the end of the class, but my portfolio was due yesterday so I'm gonna start putting it up here! Also, relaunch of my website should be ready by tomorrow, lots of new photos and edits will be going up there too.

Ray traces are created by hanging a small flashlight from a tall ceiling, pointing your camera straight up and swinging the light like a pendulum while doing a long exposure. These traces were anywhere from 30 seconds to 5 minutes. I played around with color and blending in photoshop and really like how mine came out.
Last week my dashing friend Jesse Youngblood came into the studio to hang and take some pictures just for fun :) I love this man! He has a really cool style and i've been wanting to photograph him for a while. Enjoy.
Here's some 35mm goodness I shot a few weeks ago when Ash and I went to LA to see a special screening at the Arclight of Oddsac, which is a visual collaboration between Animal Collective (music) and Danny Perez (visuals/director). We dropped by Lane's place before meeting up with our friend Bridger and some awesome ladies from school. It was such a fun night! Oddsac is AMAZING by the way, it completely blew my mind and was so inspiring! Youtube it immediately to see the trailer!! It's set to be released on DVD and iTunes June 29th.
Lane's bf is not only a talented musician in the band Strung Out, but also an incredible artist! This is a space in their apartment where he paints.
I happened to snap a few film shots after leaving my internship with Peggy Sirota a few weeks ago, she lives in a gorgeous area of Thousand Oaks and I couldn't help but grab a few shots as the sun was setting..
I've been making a point to do some pleasure-shooting with film lately, and I've fallen in love. I finally scanned my recent develops, here's some I took a few weeks ago when some great friends and I went to Katsuya in LA to celebrate Sarah and Becky's birthdays!

The last one is a pic of Becky and I taken by Adam Reynolds :)
